Then join us to meditate, play with paint, light up through yoga, and connect with nature.

6 Nights, 7 days |January, 2022

Walking down a lush jungle path at dawn, you hear a rustle of feathers and bright birdsongs.
A swoop of rainbow bright colors flashes before you-a scarlet macaw leading you toward the yoga pavilion. There you follow along to a heart-opening yoga practice that leaves you glowing.

At breakfast you meet a new friend who ALSO feels like she's on the brink of massive change when she returns home, and is FINALLY embracing it. You're both excited and nervous for the art class about to begin, but when the intuitive painting session begins, you feel as fearless as a child. Color and patterns dance and flow onto the canvas as you lose track of time.

Your new friend taps your shoulder, awakening you from your trance to remind you of your plan to walk along the black-sand beach. You smile, thinking that this time on a Tuesday you're usually answering emails. But it's not even noon yet, and today, your soul is calling you to the next adventure.

What is the Art of Flow?

"Being completely involved in an activity for its own sake. The ego falls away. Time flies. Every action, movement, and thought follows inevitably from the previous one, like playing jazz. Your whole being is involved, and you're using your skills to the utmost."

Mihály Csíkszentmihályi

This retreat takes place during the time of Easter, which is traditionally known as a sacred day of renewal and rebirth.

This retreat is your chance to immerse yourself in the healing energy of creativity and equanimity.

While days are structured around meals, meditation, yoga, and art classes, you’ll be free to choose how to fill your afternoons to strike the perfect balance for what YOU need to get the most from your experience.

Choose between an array of excursions, both paid and free. Lounge in a hammock or in the pool, zip-line or take a surf lessons.
Or  take a horseback ride through the jungle to a waterfall, where you’ll get a full-body mud bath in the famous Costa Rican blue clay.

A Bilingual Community

Our group of adventurers include some who only speak English, some who only speak Spanish, and big hearted learners of both languages who will be giggling, hugging, and playing charades as they become new best friends. Both of your retreat leaders are fully bilingual, and conversation exchange and immersion is encouraged. Be ready to hear a LOT of both throughout the day!

What's Included

Look for your name on the placard when you arrive at Costa Rica’s San Jose airport. You’ll meet your new tribe on the included shuttle drive to our retreat location.

Begin and end your day with yoga classes, taught by retreat leader Paty at our exquisite Yoga Shala. The open walls of the open structure allow the jungle surroundings to inspire your flow.

Feed your soul with color and the freedom to explore on the canvas. Intuitive painting classes will allow you to create freely, without judgement or fear of “not having talent,” and create beauty every day.

You’ll be talking about the food long after the retreat is over. Vida Asana’s fresh, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are so delicious and beautiful, they have their own cookbook. Detox in the most savory way imaginable.

Much of the work we’ll be doing is guided by your own inner wisdom. We’ll pave the way for you to find your own flow with guided meditations from Paty each day.

Flows like water around the obstacles that inevitably come up in life. Dwell in the high-vibration of the flow-state in your work and creative projects. Develop mindset skills and techniques to help you achieve this anytime through group sessions each evening.

A home for your soul

Welcome to a playground of art, meditation, and healing movement, tucked in between the beach and the jungle.
